Recap of TheArtOfApplying.com’s recent “B-school Despite the Odds” webinar

Back on July 5th, I told all of you about a free webinar that was being held on July 8th by TheArtOfApplying.com, my friend Kaneisha Grayson’s new B-school coaching company.

The webinar was entitled “B-school Despite the Odds” and, in it, Kaneisha gave an overview of her own background and what most people would say were shortcomings in her application followed by some general tips that she’s used to help some of her clients over the years. I was really impressed with how open she was about her own MBA application journey and her willingness to put it all out there in terms of how she was able to get into HBS and the Kennedy School. Overall, I really enjoyed the webinar and, although I don’t need B-school application advice anymore, I could see how Kaneisha’s approach could be very helpful to applicants. In fact, the fundamentals of her approach are very similar to the type of tips and advice that I’ve given to my readers on this site over the years. When it comes to applying to B-school, all it takes is for a person to break it all down to the basics and the webinar did a really good job of that.
