What’s going on, everyone. As you guys know by now, I love giving shout-outs to companies and organizations that I believe do great things. Well, this entry is meant to give you guys a heads up about a great company called FreePledge that was founded by the wife of one of my GSB classmates and that boyfriend of another GSB classmates. The site allows you to donate money to non-profit organizations by shopping at a variety of online stores that you likely already use. You would go to www.freepledge.com, select a nonprofit to support, and then go to the online store through FreePledge…and then the store that you buy from will make a donation in your name to the nonprofit you chose. In addition to being easy, it doesn’t cost you anything either, so it’s a win-win.
I just found out that FreePledge has set up a special Valentine’s Day website with a bunch of special online coupons for stores selling flowers, jewelry, and other gifts for that special day on Feb. 14. Here’s the link to the special V-day online storefront:
