What’s going on, y’all. I’m writing this entry from a hotel in Philly, where I am for McK’s annual BCSS Conference. I plan on writing an entry about this experience when I have some more time. For now, I’d like to post the following request for case interview practice partners that I received from a reader in London. She’s got a somewhat non-traditional background and wants to get started practicing as soon as possible. If you’re interested in working with her on case, please contact her directly.

“hello all
Just spoke to a McK consultant and she inspired me to do this. She did at least 100 practice cases with a dedicated case study team, and said waiting for an interview call before starting practice or trying to do everything on one’s own from a book; is absolutely the wrong strategy. I have already started interviewing with some firms, and will be applying to Mck very soon. I want to get together with a dedicated committed group of people, ideally based out of London; who would be willing to meet on a regular basis (at least 3-4 times a week) to do cases together. If you’re serious about consulting, that’s the only way. Experienced hires / MBAs / PhDs strongly preferred, as I am not applying at the BA level; but if you’re really serious about cases and would be willing to put in the time commitment, please feel free to email even if you’re applying / interviewing for BA roles. Please email me at case.challenge@googlemail.com, and lets get started. It is great if you’re London based. If not, we can still practice on skype.
