In this entry, you’ll be introduced to Tanisha Drummer, a Strategy professional and former Management Consultant. Tanisha is a friend of mine from my years at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and has done some really interesting things in her career. Tanisha is a former Management Consultant in Accenture’s Strategy Practice, where she focused on Marketing strategy for 4 years before business school and 1.5 years afterward. She’s been in her current Corporate Strategy role at US Cellular for over a year now and has been having tremendous impact.

I’m tempted to give you more background on her here, but I wouldn’t want to spoil her chance to tell you about it herself in the video. As you’ll soon see, she offers a unique perspective about careers and how people tend to see themselves through their jobs. Anyone who has been following my blog entries for a while will be able to understand why she and I are such good friends.

You’ll notice that this interview is different because I was able to talk to Tanisha in-person, which gives a bit of a different dynamic than the usual web-chat interviews that I publish on this site. The face-to-face exchange definitely works well in this video and I hope you guys enjoy the discussion as much as I enjoyed conducting it.
